Open source computational science laboratory (OSCSLab) of the Miletić family

Formerly known as Computer networks laboratory, we have expanded our interests and changed our name. We are interested in computational science and high performance computing using open source software and hardware as as much as possible.

Our mission is to do better science the open source way. This includes open file formats, open source software, open source hardware and open access publication.

The page is under construction as of July 2016, more details will be added at a later time.

We are helping AMD make GPUOpen into a sucessful project

Background

AMD should understand that openness of OpenCL gives them an advantage and should push it harder. (Vedran Miletić, June 2014)

AMD took a stand for open source, and we respect that. By choosing to base its Linux and high performance computing strategy on open source software, AMD has made a large step forward. We hope AMD will deliver on its promise and will be following their actions.
